In the first Somos Soundbytes episode of the season, Jaime sat down with David Frankel of ZipDX, an industry veteran with decades of experience in the telecom world, to explore TDoS (Telephony Denial of Service) attacks. 

They began by discussing the nature and techniques of attacks, and the various reasons for their use, which range from extortion to simple anger against a certain individual or organization. They went on to explore how TDoS attacks should be mitigated and prevented, including traceback techniques and the call authentication barriers inherent in STIR/SHAKEN.
