Last week, members of the Data & Marketing Association Nonprofit Federation (DMANF) gathered in Washington D.C. to learn about innovative marketing and fundraising techniques with the goal of creating stronger relationships with donors.
The DMANF is a nonprofit community that champions deeper philanthropic engagement and effective advocacy through the innovative and responsible use of data-driven marketing. The federation is also a leading source for nonprofit marketing and fundraising professional education and industry advancement.
We at Somos are inspired by the work that nonprofits around the world do to help relieve human suffering and connect communities through the power of technology and the magic of giving. Several of the presenters at least week’s conference represented organizations who successfully drive deeper donor relationships by using Toll-Free Numbers for their brand.
Here are just a few examples of the wonderful presenting organizations that are making a difference in the global community:
Heifer International
855-9-HUNGER
“We empower families to turn hunger and poverty into hope and prosperity – but our approach is more than just giving them a handout. Heifer links communities and helps bring sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty. Our animals provide partners with both food and reliable income, as agricultural products such as milk, eggs and honey can be traded or sold at market.”
National Audubon Society
844-428-3826
“The National Audubon Society protects birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow, throughout the Americas using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation. Audubon’s state programs, nature centers, chapters, and partners have an unparalleled wingspan that reaches millions of people each year to inform, inspire, and unite diverse communities in conservation action.”
American Kidney Fund
800-638-8299
“The American Kidney Fund is the nation’s leading non-profit working on behalf of the 30 million Americans with kidney disease. Our mission is to help people fight kidney disease and live healthier lives, and we fulfill that mission by providing a complete spectrum of programs and services: prevention activities, top-rated health educational resources, and direct financial assistance enabling 1 in 5 U.S. dialysis patients to access lifesaving medical care, including dialysis and transplantation.”
