Somos, Inc. Announces New Hire of Bill LaRuffa as Director of Business Development

East Brunswick, NJ, December 10, 2020 – Somos, Inc., a leading registry management and data solutions company, today announced the company has hired Bill LaRuffa as its Director of Business Development. Mr. LaRuffa will be responsible for developing and launching new, innovative products and services to serve Somos customers and the telecom industry.

Mr. LaRuffa joins Somos with more than 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. His expertise lies in network engineering, optimization, business analytics, and regulatory compliance with a focus on cost reduction and margin management. Prior to Somos, Mr. LaRuffa served as Executive Director of Business Analytics at TEOCO, a leading provider of analytics, assurance, and optimization solutions to more than 300 communication service providers (CSPs) and OEMs worldwide. Mr. LaRuffa has also held senior positions at AT&T, XO Communications, and Nortel Networks.

Mr. LaRuffa is also an active member of ATIS, with involvement in the ATIS/SIP Forum IP-NNI Task Force, the PTSC - Packet Technologies and Systems Committee, and the PTSC Non-IP Call Authentication Task Force.
