Global Convergence Solutions, Inc. Enters into Partnership with Somos, Inc.

Global Convergence Solutions, Inc. (GCS), the leading provider of interconnect voice management solutions for the voice telecommunications marketplace, announced, today, that it has entered into a partnership with Somos, Inc., a leading registry management and data solutions company, Under terms of the partnership, GCS will integrate and distribute select Somos® numbering database products and services as part of its Interconnect Command Platform Solution (ICP) and provide these services on a monthly subscription basis.

The addition of these products to complement the GCS ICP Solution will enhance voice services providers abilities to filter, block and process both outbound and inbound calls on a service provider’s network. By integrating with the GCS ICP solution, GCS customers will have the ability to access Somos’ RouteLink® and RealNumber® Do Not Originate (DNO) databases and make determination about how best to route the call based on different parameters and attributes contained within the respective numbering databases all in real-time. This offering will include access to Toll-Free routing data and both Toll-Free and Local Number data for DNO.

By partnering with Somos, GCS is accessing market leading numbering databases for both Toll-Free (8XX) and NANPA based numbering plans.
