These courses offer Project Managers an opportunity to advance beyond the PMBOK knowledge to implementation and application. PRINCE2 complements and supports the PMI-sanctioned body of knowledge by presenting a suite of methods and processes that a Project Manager should execute to be more successful.

PRINCE2 Background

PRINCE2 was developed by the UK OGC to standardize the way projects are managed and to improve the chances of project success. OGC also developed the ITIL standards and certification to bring similar improvements to the management of Information Technology Services.

PRINCE2 certification is now a standard requirement for Project Managers in the UK and it is growing in Europe. As its benefits become more widely understood, we expect that US and Canadian companies and government organizations will begin to look for this certification from their PMs.

Earn PDUs

As a PMI Registered Education Provider (REP), SOMOS courses are eligible for PDUs for PMP certification or renewal.
