Advanced MS Project
Course Overview:
A one-day workshop that follows-up on the Introduction to MS Project course. Attendees use MS Project to develop a project schedule according to the methodology presented in the introductory course.
Course Description:
This workshop provides attendees with advanced skills to succeed using the industry-standard scheduling tool Microsoft Project. Advanced MS Project is an ideal follow-on to the SOMOS Introduction to MS Project course. The workshop uses Microsoft Project as a tool to further the development of a project schedule according to the methodology presented in the Introduction to MS Project. Each attendee applies the principles and structure from the knowledge course to develop a Microsoft Project schedule for a project relevant to their work environment. Participants will take away project scheduling tools and templates that can be applied to their own projects.
Objectives:
Attendees of this workshop will learn advanced techniques of the industry-standard scheduling tool Microsoft Project. They will learn the program application, use, structure, syntax, as well as hints, techniques, limitations, and work-arounds.
